interiorcad 2009 is shipping!

We've made it. Head over to our main site for more information.
interiorcad 2009 provides substantially improved support for combinations of sliders, steel sided drawers and front fixtures. Selecting such a set of hardware will automatically configure the complete drawer box. The necessity to select a drawer favorite first has been retired: sliderdrawerfrontfixtureselection.png We paid some extra attention to the position of front fixture drillings in the part layout. In short, using steel sided drawers in interiorcad 2009 is much more straightforward and reliable.

interiorcad 2009 - Schedule update

| | Comments (0)

Just a brief update on our interiorcad 2009 release schedule:

We are in the final stages of testing both the German language Vectorworks interiorcad / interior xs 2009 and the English language interiorcad / interior xs 2009.

Please hold your breath for a few more days. Thanks for your patience.

In interiorcad 2009, boards, coverings & finishings are linked to textures.

If you change the base material, covering or finishing of a part, e.g from white laminate to beach veneer, interiorcad will automatically set the texture of the parts properly. Plus, if the texture needed isn't available in the current document, interiorcad will search the texture libraries and automagically import the texture.

interiorcad 2009 - Data migration

| | Comments (0)

While we're busy putting the finishing touches on interiorcad 2009, here is another teaser:

One of #1 request regarding interiorcad updates was: There is no automatic migration of user generated data / favorites / settings between versions.

interiorcad 2009 will be able to migrate

  • Materials
  • Favorites
  • Settings
  • VectorWOP Configurations

from interiorcad 2008. Data migration will happen automatically when using interiorcad 2009 features the first time:
