To install and run interiorCAD successfully, a user needs administrator privileges and write access to the VectorWorks installation folder. In the system preferences, locate »Accounts« and ensure the option »Allow user to administer this computer« is enabled:

Further ensure the current user is allowed to read and write to the VectorWorks application directory:
If the settings don't grant those rights, change it and press the button »Apply to enclosed items...«.
