Placing a unit on its back

Usually units cannot be rotated so the front can be seen from above. When trying to rotate the unit while seen from the left, an error message will appear. This is due to the 2D-part of the unit which is used in 2D-plan view mode.

Removing the 2D component lets you rotate the unit. This can easily be done in the unit dialog. Choose �Edit unit� and switch off the option �Generate 2D-Symbol�. Now the unit can easily be rotated.
